According to preliminary figures, FORTEC Elektronik AG recorded profitable growth momentum in the first half of the 2021/2022 financial year in the challenging environment of the pandemic and despite strained supply chains, with earnings performance exceeding expectations.
Highlights:
Group turnover of EUR 42.1 million around 12 % above the previous year's level (PY: EUR 37.5 million)
Group operating EBIT of EUR 4 million (PY: EUR 1.9 million) more than doubled
Order book as at 31 December 2021 increased significantly to EUR 73.7 million (PY: EUR 48.6 million)
Raising of the 2021/2022 forecast, taking into account the dynamic business development in the first half of the year and the high order backlog (EUR 73.7 million)

Martin Bull has recently joined the team at Components Bureau where he will be leading the Power Electronics division.
Martin brings a wealth of experience with 22 years in the power supply market. He has already settled into his new role, getting to grips with the extensive range of power products that Components Bureau has to offer and has been involved with the preparation of the new website.
