The Precision Range has been designed specifically to fulfil customers’ needs for full flexibility, superb quality and unbeatable value for money. Manufactured in China and distributed exclusively via our UK hub, our range of fully-custom high and low frequency transformers is available throughout Europe.
Precision is backed by over a quarter of a century of manufacturing expertise from Components Bureau. Our relationship with our Chinese manufacturers has been fine-tuned over the years, enabling us to provide fast sample turn around and a responsive, cost-effective solution for mass production. The range includes high frequency transformers, low frequency transformers, high frequency inductors and low frequency inductors.
Our fully-custom products are built at our affiliated ISO9001:2008-certified plants in China and are fully designed and tested in accordance to international standards (UL (cURus) / CENELEC / IEC / EN) prior to dispatch.
We work together with three factories in the Shenzhen district to provide technical and commercial solutions for our customer’s product. We can negotiate costs with local raw material suppliers in China ensuring the best costs and availability for production.
We have vast experience working within the lighting market; key areas include LED, HID, emergency lighting, ballasts and driver systems up to 100W. We also have experience in the supply of main transformers, rectifier transformers, switching transformers and SMPS for Automation and Control applications.
At Components Bureau, we have our own in-house transformer range called Precision. The range has been designed to provide full flexibility, superb quality and unbeatable value for money. We’ve recently worked on a project where our customer wanted performance in the hi-pot test to be improved.
Recently we’ve worked with an OEM who produces LED Drivers to create a transformer which satisfied their design and safety requirements.
Our customer, An OEM who supplies the street lighting industry, wanted to simplify their bobbin design by removing the flying lead wires in some way, while ensuring the clearance and creepage distances remained within the safety standard EN61558-1 specs.
