1200W AC-DC Industrial/Medical Brick leads the way with 21% more power

The new TUNS1200 part of the TUNS series from Cosel is available from Components Bureau, the new power module designed for industrial and medical applications boasts 21% more power in a 36% smaller footprint than the current 1kW industry standard. Packaged in sealed housing with an aluminium baseplate, the TUNS1200 is the latest member of COSEL’s TUNS series, which includes a 50W ¼ brick, 100W ½ brick and 300, 500 and 700W full brick units. The TUNS1200 has a height of just 12.7 mm (0.5”) and weighs less than 280 grams.

20W Brick DC-DC Converter designed for Railways offers input range from 8.5V - 160V

Components Bureau are pleased to announce the new DC/DC converters AER20-W and AER20-DW from AUTRONIC.

The compact 20 W power supply is designed for harsh applications and suitable for the railway with an input range of 18:1. The new edition of the AER series are galvanically isolated DC-DC converters with 20 W power in a sealed housing. The 2"x1" bricks have been specifically designed as reliable solutions for applications such as railway systems, battery powered equipment, measuring instruments, displays and many other applications with harsh requirements.

3000W AC/DC meets SEMI F47 suitable for Semiconductor equipment and Industrial applications

New from Cosel the FETA3000BA 3000W AC/DC enclosed power supply is available from Components Bureau, this new addition to the FETA series is designed with Cosels advanced built in digital microprocessor technology.  Safety approved to UL62368-1, C-UL (CSA62368-1), EN62368-1.

The new FETA3000BA includes active current sharing, making it simple to parallel up to 10 units for extra power or redundancy, without adding any other external components. The FETS3000BA series integrates a very sophisticated voltage and current balance control. This simplifies system integrators tasks when connecting units in parallel or series. It offers an efficiency level of 93% as it includes an active filter and uses a phase shift.

1.3kW quarter brick with digital control for data centre and communications network equipment

Components Bureau are pleased to announce the new BDQ1300 1,300W quarter-brick DC-DC converter from Artesyn Embedded Power. The new BDQ1300 is designed to provide the highest efficiency (over 97%) on-board 12V output with optional digital control. It can accept an input voltage range of 40 ~ 60 V, making it ideal for data centre and communications network equipment.  “The BDQ1300 has been designed to primarily support two power conversion architectures”, according to the company Technical Marketing Director, Andy Brown, he also quotes  “Either the conventional and widely used ‘two-stage’ conversion architecture network, where the BDQ1300 only provides power to non-isolated, 12V input point-of-load converters such as Artesyn’s LGA80D or LGA50D families; or the module can also be used to support a hybrid conversion architecture. This is where some of the application’s power is converted with 48 V to low-voltage ‘direct conversion’ products”
