Andrew has been with Components Bureau since 1993, joining the company from an electronics firm based in his native Scotland where he was working on the purchasing side. He feels strongly that his experience as a buyer has made a significant contribution to his development of Components Bureau into the trusted source it is today: “It’s important to me that all our customers know that we regard ourselves very much as a part of their team.” He explains. “One component can have a massive effect on production and I think our success is down to the fact that our customers know that if they have problems we’ll work with them to find a solution. We take a great deal of time and trouble to find out how each business works so we have a true understanding of what’s important to each customer.”
Away from the office Andrew coaches youth football and is a keen follower of tennis and football.
